ABOUT AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR MICK ELLIOTT

My brand new graphic novel, URANUS FC - The Greatest Goal in the Galaxy, is here! Not only is it my lucky thirteenth book, but it’s also about two of my favourite things: SPACE and SOCCER. I absolutely LOVED drawing it! And I am busy working on the second and third books in the series right now.

When I’m not writing and illustrating epic books for kids like Mr Duckins’ Chickens, Grandmas in Grand Cars, Mums & Mogs, Dads & Dogs, Squidge Dibley and The Turners Trilogy, I am also a TV producer, screenwriter, literacy ambassador and professional mischief maker. (It’s a serious job!)

I’ve worked on kids TV shows for Nickelodeon, the ABC, The Sesame Workshop and Channel 10, producing programmes such as Slimefest, Camp Orange, Slime Cup, The Kids Choice Awards, Play Along with Ollie and squillions of commercials.

I worked as a story producer and screenwriter on the ABC preschool series The Wonder Gang and as a script editor on Reef School. I was an executive producer on the awesome Paramount series, Rock Island Mysteries, which you can catch on Nickelodeon.
